Sometimes I feel as if I haven't accomplished much. I felt that way this week, but then when I discussed my week with a few friends, I've realized I have had an incredibly busy week at work.
I cannot concentrate in anything for long periods of time, which is why I tend to act like a butterfly: I start something in the studio, then I remember I haven't had any coffee in about 30 minutes, and I rush to the kitchen, for fear of dehydration (hrrmmpppfff.)
When I am having my coffee, I absent mindedly do a lot of different things around the kitchen and the living room, and somehow, before I realize it, I'm sitting by the computer, doing very important things, like pinning projects I'll never make, houses I will never live in, and clothes I will never wear.
The coffee gets cold, and then it hits me..I was doing important things in the studio..what were they? I walk over to the studio, and when I get there, I realize I have left my glasses on the dining table. You get the picture, I'm sure. I tend to go back and forth like this hundreds of times a day, which is why I always feel like I haven't done anything, other than fold the laundry of course.
However, in my weird, butterfly- like fashion, I accomplish quite a lot.
Especially in the laundry department, although I have yet to figure out one of life's biggest mysteries:
Where do all the lonely socks go to?
But back to the busy week I've had at the office, dear, I think I may need to back this up with a few images, or else, you would think I am making it all up and actually, I just drink coffee, fold laundry and pin pins on Pinterest..
I finished the lovely Miss Henrietta,
Finished Miss Joe, who found a new home and will be flying there in a couple of days,
Had a successful Giveaway, in which Miss Mimi found a lovely family to join,
Wrote a couple of blog posts, which in itself is already rather astonishing, due to the above mentioned attention span issue, finished a couple of custom dolls... let's see, what else have I done?
hmmm...
Ah, yes. I folded some laundry.
